Early Life of Cristiano Ronaldo

Ronaldo started his football journey as a child only.

His father was a kitman at Andorinha, where he played from 1992 to 1995 and spent the next two years with Nacional.

While attaining the age of 12 years, he went with sporting CP, on a three-day trial, where he got signed immediately for a fee of 1,500 Euros.

In the next few years, Ronaldo believed that he had the ability to play semi-professionally and agreed with his mother to stop his education to focus all his energies entirely on the game of football.

But one year later, he had been diagnosed with a racing heart health problem, a condition that necessitated surgery.

He recovered soon with the treatment and resumed training after a few days.


On 29th September 2002, he made his official debut in the Primeira Liga, against Braga, and on 7 October 2002, against Moreirense.

He debuted in the Premier League on 16 August 2003 and received a standing ovation in a 4–0 home win over Bolton Wanderers.

He scored his first and only hat-trick for United against Newcastle United on 12 January 2008.

He had a youth level and early International career as well. He started his International football career with Portugal, an under 15 level in 2001. On 6 February 2007, he got his first captaincy against Brazil.
