Guy Kawasaki is a marketing expert, author, and a Silicon Valley venture capitalist from the United States.

In 1984, he was one of the Apple employees in charge of marketing the Macintosh computer line.

In marketing the Macintosh as a “Apple evangelist,” he popularized the terms “evangelism marketing” and “technology evangelism/platform evangelism” in general.

From March 2015 until December 2016, Kawasaki served on the board of trustees of the Wikimedia Foundation, Wikipedia’s non-profit operational entity.

Kawasaki is the author of several books, including The Macintosh Way [1990], The Art of the Start [2004], and Wise Guy [2019].
