Phil Robertson is known for his role in “Duck Dynasty” and as the founder of Duck Commander.
Growing up in a large poor family they lived off the land.
He excelled in sports leading to a football scholarship at Louisiana Tech where he played ahead of Terry Bradshaw but prioritized hunting over a potential pro football career.
After earning degrees in physical education and education Robertson briefly taught before inventing the Duck Commander duck call in 1972 leading to a successful business.
His life and family were featured in “Duck Dynasty” from 2012 to 2017.
