92 Best Charlotte Bronte Quotes from Famous English Novelist

Charlotte Brontë, born on 21 April 1816, was an iconic English novelist and poet, best known for her novel “Jane Eyre” (1847).

By the age of nine, Charlotte had lost her mother and two older sisters.

Her early experiences at the Clergy Daughters’ School influenced the portrayal of Lowood School in “Jane Eyre”.

Post these tragedies, Charlotte and her siblings were home-schooled, during which they created intricate imaginary worlds, laying a foundation for their literary futures.

As an adult, Charlotte wrote novels influenced by her experiences, including her time in Brussels and her unrequited love for a headmaster.
