Bob Ross was an American painter and television personality known for his popular PBS show “The Joy of Painting” which taught millions the art of painting.
Raised in Orlando Ross enlisted in the United States Air Force at 18 and was stationed in Alaska where he took his first painting class and learned the wet-on-wet oil painting technique.
