Deontay Wilder, born on October 22, 1985, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, is an American boxer who once held the WBC heavyweight title from 2015.
Nicknamed “The Bronze Bomber” after winning bronze in the 2008 Olympics, Wilder began his boxing career in 2005.
He earned his first professional boxing title in 2012 by defeating Kelvin Price. Wilder defended his title numerous times but lost it to Tyson Fury in 2020.
