Shannon Sharpe, born on June 26, 1968, is a former American football tight end, mainly with the Denver Broncos for 14 seasons in the NFL.
Among the greatest tight ends, Sharpe ranks third in tight end receptions, yards and touchdowns.
Playing college football at Savannah State University, he was drafted by the Broncos in 1990. Sharpe had seven consecutive Pro Bowls, four All-Pros and two Super Bowl titles with Denver.
