Will Keith Kellogg, popularly known as W.K. Kellogg, was an American food entrepreneur who started the Kellogg Company.

He was a Seventh-day Adventist who followed the dietary principles given by his church, which included vegetarianism.

Kellogg Arabian Ranch, which breeds Arabian horses, was also started by him.

During his lifetime, Kellogg was a generous philanthropist who created the Kellogg Foundation with a $66 million contribution in year 1934.

He started his young career as a broom salesman in the hometown of Battle Creek, Michigan.

He was engaged by George H. King in December 1878 on the recommendation of James Springer White to assist him in the running operations of his new broom business in the city of Dallas, Texas.

In November 1879, he went home to assist his brother John Harvey Kellogg in the management of the Battle Creek Sanitarium.

Around 1897, they founded the Sanitas Food Company, which specialized in whole-grain cereals.
