Marc Jacobs is a fashion designer from the United States. He is the creative director of Marc Jacobs, his own fashion company, as well as Marc by Marc Jacobs, a diffusion line that was produced for 15 years before being discontinued after the 2015 fall/winter collection.
There were approximately 200 retail shops in 80 countries at one time. From 1997 until 2014, he was the creative director of the French fashion brand Louis Vuitton.
