Randy Savage, often known as “Macho Man,” was an American professional wrestler.
Initially a baseball player he switched to wrestling gaining fame for his “Ooooh yeah!” catchphrase flashy attire and raspy voice.
Born to an Italian-American father and a Jewish mother he and his brother Lanny both inspired by their wrestler dad made names in wrestling.
Randy’s wrestling highlights include winning 29 championships the W.W.F. Intercontinental Heavyweight Championship and feuds with Hulk Hogan.
He also worked in T.V. and films voicing characters in shows like “King of the Hill.”
Savage passed away in 2011 from a heart attack.
