Kevin Jerome Gilyard, better known by his stage name Kevin Gates, is a rapper, singer, and entrepreneur from the United States.

With a relationship with Atlantic Records, he is presently signed to Bread Winners’ Association.

Islah, his debut studio album, was released in January 2016 and reached number two on the Billboard 200 list in the United States.

Prior to Islah, Gates produced a series of mixtapes, including Stranger Than Fiction, By Any Means, and Luca Brasi 2, all of which charted in the Billboard 200 top 40.
