Sprague Grayden is an American actress who was born on July 21, 1980.
She portrayed Heather Lisinski, a schoolteacher, in the television drama Jericho, Karen Kawalski in John Doe, Olivia Taylor, the first daughter in the television thriller 24, and Kristi Rey in Paranormal Activity 2 and 3.
Grayden was born to two schoolteachers in Manchester, Massachusetts. Her mother’s maiden name is Sprague.
Grayden earned a bachelor’s degree in American Studies from Barnard College, where she also participated in drama. She confirmed her marriage to her 24 co-star Alexis “Lex” Cassar in January 2013.
In September of 2014, she gave birth to their son.
She considers herself a science fiction nerd who enjoys collecting Pez dispensers.
In the 2016 U.S. presidential election, Grayden backed Senator Bernie Sanders.
She was a member of the theatre department at Columbia University’s Barnard College.
