Steffi Graf is a former professional tennis player from Germany.
In 1984, 15-year-old Steffi Graf won the Olympic tennis demo tournament and became world number one by 1987.
In 1988 she achieved the first “Golden Slam” by winning all four major tennis titles and Olympic gold a feat unmatched in women’s tennis.
Graf retired in 1999 as a top player receiving the Olympic Order.
