Jerry Bridges born on December 4, 1929 in Tyler, Texas passed away at 86 on March 6, 2016.
Despite facing multiple disabilities and growing up in poverty, Jerry found his faith as a teenager. Following college he served in the Navy during the Korean conflict.
A medical discharge led him to a career with Convair in California where he honed his writing skills.
Jerry later joined The Navigators a Christian ministry where he met his first wife Eleanor.
Together they had two children. After Eleanor’s death he married Jane Mallot.
