Zelda Fitzgerald born Zelda Sayre in 1900 was an iconic figure of the 1920s embodying the flapper lifestyle and known for her turbulent marriage with F. Scott Fitzgerald.

Her relationship with Scott started in 1918 and they married in 1920 becoming symbols of the Jazz Age.

In 1924 they moved to France where Zelda engaged in writing painting and ballet. However the 1920s also marked the start of their marital and Zelda’s mental health issues.
